Description

Yarn package for the Friday V-neck sweater from PetiteKnit made from Sunday and Tynn Silk Mohair from Sandnes Garn.

You knit from top to bottom in broken rib. This classic sweater vest is great to simply wear over a dress or a shirt!

First the back is made, then the two shoulders and finally the torso. Cuffs are knitted along the V-neck and around the armholes.

The cuff at the neckline is knitted with decorative decreases in the middle of the front.

Knit a sample of the stitches first before you actually start knitting. Please note that the broken rib pattern will expand during washing/wearing.

Therefore you should expect that the stitch sample before washing/wearing is approx. 24-25 sts per 10 cm, but after washing/wearing it is 22 sts per 10 cm. For shoulder width and fit, it is extremely important that the exact stitch sample is adhered to. Therefore, wash your swatch before measuring.

Size Guide

The Friday V-neck sweater should have a freedom of movement ( positive ease) of approx. 6 cm in relation to your chest circumference.

The sizes 130 (130-140) 140-50 cm.

Measure yourself before you start knitting to make sure you have chosen the correct size for you. For example, if your chest circumference measures 90 cm (or the widest part of your torso), you should choose size S because the chest circumference is 96 cm.
