Yarn package for the Celeste Sweater Junior from PetiteKnit.

This beautiful Norwegian sweater is knitted top down with a round yoke. It has a small pattern and is therefore a great introduction to Norwegian knitting!

Note that when knitting with a pattern (Fair Isle) you often have to use a 0.5 - 1 mm thicker needle than when knitting in one color. Therefore, make both a single-colored and multi-colored swatch before you actually start knitting.

Size guide

The Celeste Sweater Junior should have a range of motion (positive ease) of approx. 15-19 cm in relation to the chest circumference. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-12) 12-14 years correspond to a chest circumference Body of approximately 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (78) 82 cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front page (note that these measurements only apply if the stitch sample is adhered to). If your child has a chest circumference of 56 cm, you should choose size. Choose 3-4 years. A sweater in size. 3-4 years has a chest circumference of 73 cm and in this case would have a range of motion (positive ease) of 17 cm. If the measured chest circumference differs from the age stated, you should adjust the length to suit the person being embroidered. The same applies if the child is smaller/larger than average.
