Description

Snefnug is Danish for "snowflake," and that's how this yarn feels too: super soft, light and airy, yet beautifully voluminous.

Its construction is quite unique and very natural. Baby alpaca and extra-fine merino wool are blown into a fine cotton tube. This creates a thick yarn that's almost weightless, yet surprisingly easy to work with and very durable. Snefnug is made in a family-run Italian spinning mill, and the merino wool is mulesing-free.

With 4 to 6 mm needles, Snefnug knits up super quickly and easily. It's wonderful for cozy baby and children's clothes, as well as casual oversized sweaters, cardigans, and hats for yourself. You'll love this yarn from the very first cast-on!

My tip: Knit the ribbing a little tighter with smaller needles so it doesn't stretch too much when worn.

The unique color palette leaves nothing to be desired. You'll create perfectly harmonious color combinations that are harmonious yet colorful.
