The instructions for the Cross Sweater were created in collaboration with the Red Cross; a portion of the proceeds from the sale of the instructions will be donated to the Red Cross.
So you can wear the pretty red crosses and do something really good at the same time!
You knit the Cross Sweater Kids seamlessly from top to bottom and from the armholes in rounds with Peer Gynt from Sandnes yarn. This makes this charming sweater light and robust and also really warm.
The Cross Sweater has a classic look with a simple pattern in beautiful contrasting colors.

size guide
The Cross Sweater Junior should have a positive ease of movement of approx. 25 cm in relation to your chest circumference. Sizes 1-2 (2-3) 3-4 (4-5) 5-6 (6-7) 7-8 (8-9) 9-10 (10-11) 11-12 (12-14) years fit a chest circumference of 53 (54) 56 (57) 59 (62) 64 (68) 72 (75) 78 (82) cm. The measurements of the finished sweater can be found on the front page (note that these only apply if the stitch sample is adhered to). If your chest circumference or the recipient's chest circumference is 62 cm, for example, you should choose size 6-7 years. A sweater in size. 6-7 years old has a chest circumference of 88 cm and in the example chosen would have a range of motion ( positive ease ) of 26 cm. If the measured chest circumference deviates from the age information, you should consider adjusting the length to the person you are knitting for. The same applies if the child is smaller/larger than average.
