Description

Alafoss Lopi is beautifully rustic yarn for Icelandic sweaters and Norwegian sweaters. It is wonderfully thick and extremely hard-wearing.

It is made from 100% virgin wool obtained exclusively from Icelandic sheep living in Iceland. The thick 100g balls are loosely spun, making them perfect for colourwork projects.

The yarn is ideal for thick and warm garments. It keeps you wonderfully warm in winter and has excellent temperature-regulating properties. 

It is twice as thick as the popular Lettlopi from Lopi Iceland. This makes these two yarns very easy to combine.
